During the Punk Rock History Lesson, Hussieskunk provides a family tree of the history of punk. We want to enlighten and entertain all of our listeners of the diversity and staying power of punk music. The Punk Rock History Lesson is meant to help newer punk fans understand exactly where it all came from. We are always eager to hear of any band we may have missed that may have influenced bands and artists at one time or in some particular place in the world. Send us your submission or suggestion for bands and artists that helped to shape the way punk is today, by contacting us at Submissions, and let us in on your story about how you feel that artist was influential.

Just what you think it is... This is Hussieskunk's request showcase. We try to play as many requests as we can throughout the week as we receive them from you. But sometimes we can't get all of them on air. So we decided to create a show just for all of you requesters out there. Get your songs into us to play during this one hour long show and we'll play as many as we can fit in the rotation. No limits, no boundries, just send us a list and we'll get the tracks spinning. To help us out with getting your music on the show, fill out this request form each and every week to hear your music.

Question the Authorities is Hussieskunk's interview showcase. Here we will play for you all conversations and confrontations we experienced with interesting people, bands, artists, or whomever pique's our interests. You never know whom we'll be talking with. Whether it's a political figure or our favorite band, look for some interesting features. When possible, we'll make Question the Authorities a live event with listener participation, otherwise we'll have a taped interview available for download after it is featured on the show. Is there someone you think we should talk to? Do you want to be featured on Question The Authorities? Have you got an opinion that you think everyone should hear? Well then...Question The Authorities, is you chance to lay it all out. Maximumrocknroll is a widely distributed monthly fanzine dedicated to supporting the underground punk rock scene. MRR's 20-year plus history and large, obsessed all-volunteer staff has made its punk rock coverage the most consistently up-to-date and reliable around. Maximumrocknroll, in its zine form, first appeared in 1982 as the newsprint booklet in Not So Quiet On the Western Front, a comp LP released on then-Dead Kennedys' label Alternative Tentacles. Now one of the greatest punk rock fanzines is available in a live format radio show here on Hussieskunk!!

Hussieskunk plans to mix it up a bit, as we have had offers for a Funk Hour, a Techno Hour, or a Listener Appreciation Hour. We really just wanna mix it up every once in a while. You can contribute as well, send us ideas for different shows. Anything will work. Who Knows What We'll Come Up With is an hour of time just left open to go nuts. Send your ideas to Submissions, and we'll work with you to get the show you want to hear. Heck, we might even give you the chance to be the DJ for the hour!
