Vaginal Discharge
The Green Room Gets VD (released 2001)
Reality Impaired Records
Somebody was smart enough to sit back and record a live show by the comedy duo, Vaginal Discharge. The band is actually quite charismatic, and the crowd often times sings along to several of the more perverted and twisted tunes that the band manages to squeeze out with the help of a lone acoustic guitar. The disc features twenty-eight tracks, with covers from Hearseberry Taco and the song that Adam Sandler wrote in the "Wedding Singer," after his woman left him. You know the tune: "Oh, somebody kill me please, I'm on my knees, pretty, pretty please..." It's great to hear acoustic, and live on stage, Vaginal Discharge are probably the only one's who can pull it off. Vaginal Discharge also play their favorite tracks like, "Bring Me The Head Of Bono," "Sarah Are You Gay," "Hoover Love," and "42 Cigarettes". There are even a few bonuses, a few songs I haven't yet to hear, such as "Fat Farm Orgy," "It's Dark In Here," and "Ode To A Vice". All in all the album is very well recorded, and it's a shame that it took so long to get to me, cause this shit is hilarious. I've been singing along to "It's Dark In Here" for about an hour now. Can't get enough of Vaginal Discharge. This disc is a CD-R, so I'm certain you cannot find this in stores, but if someone offers a trade or manages to get you a copy, you will not put it down for days. Classic stuff here, that only Vaginal Discharge could make work. -MG |
