Hell In My Pants (released 2005)

Gritty, dirty, mean, nasty...everything you want, tightly wrapped up in a thirteen track, twenty-two minute disc. The Twats aren't out to be your friend, their out there to yell and scream at you with ripping vocals, courtesy of Cuntless Twat, and a downright relentless attack on the music they play. The best part about the disc is just how fast the band plays. Most of the songs are under two minutes, with a few slipping over, but the band just hammers their message right into your skull with a 12 pound sledge, just to be sure it got through. At times, the band reminds me of Retching Red, the female vocals are a giveaway, but also they hit me a skate punk band that can get a crowd throbbing with terrifying energy. "Hell In My Pants" is a release that more crustier punks will enjoy, especially the rats that hang out in the basement bars and clubs across the world. I highly suggest this album to anyone who enjoys gritty thrashing punk that isn't afraid of anyone or anything. -MG |
