Ska is back! But did it really ever pass away? I don't think so. The Know How, from ska mecca Gainsville, Florida, have kicked it back into high gear with their brand of infectious and dancable horn-blowin' tunes. The Know How have got a sound that is unmistakeable in their genre, by adding the sound of a moog! It's really cool the grooves they lay down with such a simple addition as the moog. I've never been a fan of the sound of that instrument before, but now I am a believer in its enhancement. The disc has thirteen tracks of non-stop excitable rock with horns and the moog, that I found myself echanted by for well over the whole of the day! As for lyrics, its more of the same of "I miss you, you miss me, you suck, I win", you know like a good ol' power punk band...but with horns. This is a good summertime album for us Northerners, but I'm sure its the year round soundtrack for those in the sunny climes of Florida! Ska is back, with a great set of new ambassadors to rock your ass while you chill in the sun and drink 'til you puke! Don't miss this album if you are a fan of good time rock, mixed with ska, and completely dancable tracks for all occasions! -MG
