This album is an excuse for crude comedy, with music as a backdrop. This isn't funny like Vaginal Discharge's music, nor is it odd rock like Dick Panthers or Guaranteed Katch, as those bands are actually into the music with a comedic message. This album is pretty much the opposite, it's just plain strange. The music is, again just a simple backdrop to all of the attempts at a comedy album. The comedy and humor is just strange... Between gay dinosaurs, accuassations of screwing a fat girl, overdosing together, dating hookers...there just isn't any cohesivenss to make me want to get into the humor. It's funny at time, but mostly not. It's just really weird... I know that's teh ideea and plan behind this album, to be so far off the wall that their really on the floor, oozing along to accomplish pretty close to nothing, other than to leave a stain on the floor. Most of the time, the band (if that's what it is), is just plain untalented. Their boring attempts at rapping or beatboxing if awful, the story telling is abhorant, the references to gay individuals and different ethnicities is tiresome. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a humorless conservative, thumper that can't even crack a smile when it's someone else and not me... This is just plain goofy stupid. There are fourteen tracks of this primative musical tragedy, that tries to revive the lifelessness of the music with crude humorless lyrics, that drags on for the better part of forty minutes. You should be thankful that I listened to this for you and told you to steer clear of this shit. I really can't find anything redeeming quality about this album, in any shape or form... I'm almost thinking that this is some avante garde rock album from some desturbingly brilliant individualss that are high on their own esteem... But then again, these people could simple be crazy! Either way, they've made this disc that apparently has allowed them to let the voices in their heads out, and now all of get to hear what they sound like... I didn't need to know what crazy sounds like, but now I'm not so afraid, cause if this is indicative of the hallucinations of crazy people, we have nothing but bad humor to worry about. P.S. The promo sheet that arrived with this record states "Shittiest band on earth presents the shittiest albums ever", I couldn't agree more. -MG |
