Conspriracy Of Truth (released 2005)
Self Produced
Maybe it's me but I find that the Second Class Citizens album is very introspective, for being called "Conspiracy Of Truth". Yeah, there are a few songs on here that could stand up as political motovators, but most seem to be self-righting and personal empowerment through experience and knowledge. The entire album is a hardcore meet rock and roll vibe, similar to Lethal Rejection. The album is not like many other hardcore acts I have heard, so it is a little refreshing, but after a while the constant thrashing does tend to get on one's nerve. I had to stop and take a break from the record, just about every time I listened to it. Nonetheless, it's a pretty good album of eleven tracks of inner turmoil and experience though many will find the fast-paced sound moe than what the band has to say on each track. Certainly a disc to drive fast to on the free way!! -MG |
