I don't know much about this band, cause either I lost the promo sheet or it didn't come with one, I think its was the latter. But what I do know about the band is that they play crunchy indie rock that reminds me of Hussieskunk darlings The Willowz. MHz plays a soft and inviting style of rock, only to drag you in by the the neck halfway through each track with a furious assult from their guitars. There are seventeen tracks on "Harness The Power", and in them it seems that the band has done just that... They deliver electrifying jams to your skull all in about two minutes. These aren't songs that will drag you down, but will get you up and dancing like a fool, kinda like a bad car commercial I can think of... I wish I could give more of a background on the band, but there aren't even liner notes on this disc! You'll have to take my word for it when I say that MHz will rock you ass with all their garage/indie rock powers! "Harness The Power" is a playful disc, guaranteed to move your ass, and one that provides a non-stop sprint of smashing guitars and groovy bass lines for all you indie rockers. -MG |
