Artificial Music Machine - www.artificialmusicmachine.com
This is bizarre to say the least. It's a techno-electro mix that simply isn't for me. I'm not sure what more to say about the dis, other than it does manage to keep a steady boring electronic beat throughout, but that's about it. There are twelve tracks of this strange electro-pop (?) groove, psychadelic weirdness, of which not a single track can hold my interest. And I listened to the whole thing...I wish that I hadn't, but to each his own... I'm sure someone, somewhere enjoys this, but not here. The label, Artificial Music Machine, is just that... Producers of music that "work with...artists whose work straddles traditional genre bounries, combining both electronic and organic elements and processes." Just gimme a label that micromanages the sound of the guitar on an album feturing a bad punk band and I'd be more interested. This is not very good, as it is something I think that would fit better in the soundtrack for the movie Tron. Or better yet, it sounds like what computers might say to each other at a singles bar, sometimes its moody and smooth, other times its snooty, and yet there are times when it is off it's rocker drunk. -MG
