Ah, yes! Everyone's favorite punk rock circus freak show, Guaranteed Katch is back with their zany and often bizarre new album. With a grand total of ten tracks, the band runs it out to almost twenty-five minutes of kooky melodies. Most of teh tracks are just plain goofy, not that that is band, but at times it seems out of place, kind of like a good acid trip! Things just seem to show up for no good reason and then they disappear just as quickly as they arrived. Another curiosity of the band is the lead singer's nasal delivery, while it's not grating, it is peculiar. His voice reall does kind of make a few songs really interesting. Guaranteed Katch isn't for everyone, but they are for someone out there. If you're into the whole experimental rock meets artsy noise, then this band os for you. Have fun with it, as Guaranteed Katch certainly has on this album! -MG |
