TEMPORARY RESIDENCE SIGNS YOUNG WIDOWS!!!
Louisville, KY's Young Widows have joined the TRL Family. We are so pumped for this, as their recent live shows have been a highlight for all of us here. They are currently finishing up their new album with producer Kurt Ballou (Converge), set for a worldwide September release. We'll keep you updated on that as we get closer to the magical date. CAROLINE iTUNES EXCLUSIVE REMIX ALBUM!!!
Since the 2006 release of Caroline's debut album, 'Murmurs,' we've been collecting remixes from friends, family and like-minded artists. Originally we were earmarking them for b-sides to her two singles from that album, but eventually we had amassed so many brilliant remixes and reinterpretations that we decided it was best to release them as a stand-alone album. Generally we're not big on remix albums, but this collection is really quite special. Available exclusively from iTunes, it comes with a 4-page "digital booklet," a term that used to make us laugh until we heard about the "ringle".

EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY CURATES ATP AND TOURS THE WORLD!!!
We are so very proud to announce that our very own Explosions In The Sky has been invited to curate the All Tomorrow's Parties Festival, taking place May 16-18 in Minehead, UK. The already-impressive line-up continues to progress, but so far it includes living legends (Dinosaur Jr), urban legends (Ghostface Killah), legends of the new school (Iron & Wine, Animal Collective, Silver Jews) and legendary reunions (Polvo). But before all that goes down, EITS are crossing the globe once more in support of last year's 'All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone.' Along with North America, they'll visit Europe, Asia and Australia (for the first time!). These will be the last tours the band does until they release a new album, so don't miss out!

After a cold, dark 2007 which saw no new Envy music or North American touring, we are ecstatic to announce this brand new 4-song EP! Of course, this is no ordinary 4-song EP...this is Envy! That means you're in for a half hour journey filled with hope, triumph, despair, redemption, and some of the heaviest riffs they've thrown down since 'A Dead Sinking Story.' It's like the missing link between 'A Dead Sinking Story' and 'Insomniac Doze,' and definitely one of the most beautifully heavy records we've heard in quite some time. This is the first DVD released by Temporary Residence Limited, and it's a beauty. 'The Sky Remains The Same As Ever' is a two-hour film documenting the recording and subsequent world tours in support of MONO's last album, 'You Are There.' The film is a beautiful mix of studio, interview and concert footage, giving an extended peak at a year in the life of one of the best live bands in the world. And the packaging is simply to die for.

Every few months we collect all of the goods that have been returned to us from our distributor, declared as "damaged," and we sell them to you at less than half the price. The "damage" refers to the packaging, usually a bent corner or torn spine. In some cases they're simply unwrapped. The records are otherwise flawless and unplayed. Stores won't take them, but we thought you might want them. They are $5 EACH, and MUST be purchased with another regularly priced mail order item. Alright, listen up, we have more great news for you! The next (and final) set of Travels In Constants discs will ship out in various installments. The most recent disc shipped in late June. This was Vol. 23, a gorgeous and heartbreaking album by Christopher Flores, formerly of the band Sonna. We wish we could give you an exact date on the rest, but the artists involved still have to finish their recordings. It will be well worth the wait, or at least we hope you will think so. We hope you've enjoyed being as patient and frustrated but ultimately satisfied as we have! Thanks for the good times (and the bad).
