Brooklyn, NY - Victor Bravo, one of New York's most punchy and powerful garage/punk bands, has this week released a new single in advance of their upcoming CD release this year. The new song, "Make The Escape", is a raw, thunderous blast, and available for free download at the band's website (
http://www.victorbravo.com ) or MySpace page ( http://www.myspace.com/victorbravo ). The
upcoming album, due out in February, will be titled "Sky Full Of Messages".

The band released their prior studio album, "Shut Out The Sky", in 2006 to
great acclaim in the indie music community. Reviewers called the previous
album an "explosive four-song EP" (Steve Gunn, Online Rock), a "garage rock
juggernaut" (Kim Cooper, Lost in the Grooves), and "snarling punk plucked
straight from Iggy Pop or Husker Du's back catalog" (Melanie Love, The Daily
Vault).

Victor Bravo is composed of two guys from Maine who escaped to New York
City. They play tense, loud, fast garage-punk rock. Dan pounds drums and
cymbals. Collin blows up amps and sings about things that try to destroy
you. People compare their sound to acts like the Ramones, Iggy Pop, and
Mudhoney. The band has regularly performed in New York and other cities in
the Northeast over the last two years, and expects to tour throughout 2008
after releasing the new CD "Sky Full Of Messages".
