Eye Alaska re-releases their debut EP, Yellow & Elephant, on iTunes today. The release includes re-recorded tracks plus a bonus song titled, "Cheetah and The Tiger." The re-release coincides with the much anticipated nationwide release of Yellow & Elephant in retail stores July 22, 2008. In addition to today's release, an exclusive stream of the EP is now available on Purevolume.

Track Listing:
1. I Knew You'd Never Fly
2. Stop Me Now...I'm Not Ready
3. Roll Right Over
4. Through Willows and Streams
5. A Storm in the Child's Fountain
6. Cheetah and the Tiger(Bonus Track)

Eye Alaska is quickly becoming known for creating a genre of music that is unique to the current music trends. "Our album title helps describe our music and style," says Vocalist/Guitarist Brandon Wronski. "The 'yellow' symbolizes the sugary sweet more pop element of the album while 'elephant' represents the darker more cinematic side."

The band's distinct style can be seen in songs like "I Knew You'd Never Fly," which Wronski explains spawned from his love of movie soundtracks. "The cinematic-rock type music is really the Eye Alaska brainchild. I usually write this type of song to a story and visual images in my head. It's almost like I'm scoring a movie, except I'm the only one who can see it. Everyone else can only hear the images in their heads."

The way in which the song was written is not the only special thing about it to Wronski, but the meaning behind it as well. "The song is about how you have to work as hard as you possibly can to get to where you want to go, but at the same time you can't do anything on your own. It's a strange concept and it's a hard thing to understand. I am still trying to understand that every day."

Their recent signing to Fearless Records was the spark that ignited the Eye Alaska fire. Since the signing, Eye Alaska re-entered the studio to re-record their EP and even opened Bamboozle Left where they played in front of thousands of kids.  Bamboozle has not been the only place they have found success in front of large crowds. Eye Alaska has also been selling out venues in Orange County, Calif. and performing regional dates with The Higher and Mayday Parade.
