The quartet of Kash (vocals), Jesse A. (bass), Ben Edge (guitar) and Justin Laughlin (drums) is an unlikely one. The commonalities lie in their love of the melodic hardcore punk of the early '80s, namely Zero Boys, Adolescents and Bad Brains. Through constant playing shows, touring, and recording, Bad Reaction are working on leaving their mark while not fitting into any one scene. This current black sheep of punk music would rather build a scene of their own. Wasn’t it about not fitting in to begin with? Their debut CD, "Had It Coming," combines two 7"s ("The Plastic World" and "Dare To Be Dull") in addition to a rendition of the Bad Brains' classic "Pay To Cum”.
