Punk Goes Crunk, the seventh album in the popular "Punk Goes" series, hits stores today.   This album will showcase popular alternative/punk/emo bands playing urban classics from Hip Hop legends like 2PAC, Notorious BIG, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre.

Punk Goes Crunk will include songs by Say Anything, Forever The Sickest Kids, New Found Glory, All Time Low, The Maine, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, The Devil Wears Prada, The Secret Handshake, Set Your Goals, My American Heart and more.

Read what New Found Glory, Forever The Sickest Kids, The Devil Wears Prada and several other artists have to say about their "crunk" track.

Forever the Sickest Kids -"Men in Black" Will Smith
"We were left with no option but to chose the most crunk song and rapper ever, which is why we recorded "Men in Black."

New Found Glory - "Tennessee" by Arrested Development
"We chose "Tennessee" by Arrested Development.  Instead of just recording a guilty pleasure rap/pop song we decided to do something we were more passionate about."

Person L - "The Seed 2.1" by The Roots
"The Roots are a hometown inspiration and one of our favorite bands so it was no-brainer to pick one of their songs.  I would not consider this song or the legendary Roots band to be "crunk" in the least, but since crunk is certainly not my bag incredible hip-hop will have to do."

The Devil Wears Prada - "Still Fly" by Big Tymers
"The band freaked out when we were offered to do a crunk song. The most difficult part for us was picking a song that we felt comfortable singing, as we are not a sex and drugs type of band (laughs). We ended up deciding on "Still Fly" and slightly modified a few lines."

The Maine - "I Wanna Love You" by Akon
"We chose this track because we thought it would be a fun song and something that would mesh well with our style. It was recorded alongside our first demos when we first started! Hip Hop is the sh*t!!"

The Secret Handshake - "I Wish" by Skee - Lo
"As a kid i could always relate to the track in so many ways.  Recording this song was also a lot of fun because I did it all in one day!"

Set Your Goals -"Put Yo Hood Up (California)" by Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz
"It has proven to be our most "crunk" song yet!"

My American Heart - "California Love" by 2Pac
"We chose "California Love" because being that our band is from Cali, it only seemed appropriate to recreate the biggest "west coast" anthem anyone has ever heard."
