Rock Warrior THOR is ready to shake the very halls of Valhalla itself from the stage of THE RAILWAY in Vancouver on March 5th to celebrate the release of his new album, “INTO THE NOISE!” Joining THOR onstage will be STEVE PRICE on lead guitar, bassist JETT STARSYSTEMS, drummer BEN FRITH, and guitarist ADAM RIDDLE. JOE KEITHLEY, president of SUDDEN DEATH RECORDS, will be there to meet & greet and introduce the band.

Although some songs were available digitally prior to the albums release to whet the appetites of ravenous fans, the new “INTO THE NOISE” CD features three bonus tracks that were not available digitally. “‘INTO THE NOISE’ is basically a concept album where the band goes on a journey to the center of the mind, of noise,” said THOR. “They come across all these alternate characters and creatures like The Sound King. It’s a quest.  Like in the song ‘Back For More’, it’s about coming back to rise up and do battle again. Sometimes you have to retreat when you get overwhelmed or defeated, but then you regain your strength and go back in. So we’re heading back Into the Noise.”

As previously mentioned, the CD also features 3 Bonus tracks not on the download version: TLB, THOR’S REVENGE, and BERSERKER with a ripping guitar solo by STEVE PRICE. The new songs are already getting very positive responses as the band has been playing cuts from the album onstage.

STEVE has issued a Guitar Challenge to any would-be guitar heroes out there that can play the instrumental song “Berserker.” If they can play it note for note and then submit their mp3 version to Fathom Records, they will be in the running for an all expenses paid trip to Orlando, Florida or Hollywood, CA to perform one song with THOR on their upcoming World Tour 2008.
