Some BIG NEWS
As you may know, ANTSY PANTS was used in the Juno
soundtrack as well as a KIMYA DAWSON song which
mentions PAUL BARIBEAU'S name. It was pretty fun to
see/hear that in a full theater. Needless to say i am
getting a lot of orders for both PIX bands. Speaking
of PAUL, the 10" version of Grandledge is now
available for $8 ppd.

The 4th THIS BIKE IS A PIPE BOMB album is still not
out. it will be out soon on PIX-SOUTH and i will have
it in distro too. look for it in 3-4 weeks.

THIS SPING, IN GAINESVILLE, LIKE PLAN-IT-X FEST
WAYWARD COUNCIL 10TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY!
Wayward Council is a Not-For-Profit, DIY, volunteer
owned and operated record store, venue and community
space in Gainesville FL. It is also home to the local
Books to Prisoners Project. Wayward started about 10
years ago as a Punk Rock record distro that would set
up a box of records at shows happening at the Hardback
(r.i.p.). About 7 years ago it moved into a building
on university ave. Since then Wayward has stuck firmly
to it's founders ideals of collective ownership and
community. Wayward has had many volunteers since it
started and most of it's founders are long gone.
Despite it's ever changing nature, it persists and
continues to fight against the mainstream music world
and the capitalist dream of crushing all independent
businesses and taking away any place we can hang out
for free. Wayward is still here.

This April Wayward Council will be 10 years old and we
are gonna have a pretty great birthday party. YOU ARE
INVITED. It will be a 3 day event in Gainesville FL.
There will be some shows and some pretty great
Plan-it-X bands are gonna play (more info later).
There will be an all day carnival with carnival games,
circus acts, a jump house, a field day (tug of war
etc.), a bike race, a chili cook off, a folk punk box,
maybe a dunking booth, eating contests and more.

The dates are APRIL 18th-19th-20th (aka 420 fest) in
Gainesville. There are no tickets for sale. This is
not a FEST. This is a party for Wayward and friends of
Wayward (anyone who supports DIY music) are invited.
(the shows will cost $5-6 bucks each to pay the
touring bands). PLEASE COME.
