Huntington Beach, CA - The Maine, the most recent addition to Fearless Records (Plain White T's, Mayday Parade, Sugarcult), releases The Way We Talk today through digital outlets and select independent retail stores. The Maine's new album launches them into the eyes of millions today as they reach #1 on PureVolume, number 35 on the "iTunes Top Alternative Chart," and 66 on the  "MySpace Top 100 Artists Chart."

Vocalist John O'Callaghan describes The Way We Talk as "a collection of songs that revolve around the theme of communication in relationships and how it changes as we grow. It shows how we are transitioning musically and demonstrates our new attitude toward writing."  The Way We Talk contains five lyrically and musically strong tracks that make these young artists appear as though they have been playing together for years.  With strong guitars riffs, catchy choruses, and harmonized vocals you will have this EP on repeat for days.

The Maine, hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, formed in January 2007 when five local boys decided turn their passion of music into a career.  The Maine's goal when starting this band was to be original. They wanted to venture away from the screamo and pop trend occurring in mainstream music so they began drawing inspiration from their strongest influences, 90's radio rock bands.  They quickly began writing, recording, and promoting, maximizing Myspace's full potential by reaching fans nationwide.  Their hard work and dedication continues to pay off as their fan base grows exponentally reaching 30K plays each day on MySpace alone.   The Maine played their first show ever in front of major label scouts, independent label executives, and over 600 fans they acquired solely from MySpace. Shortly after this show, The Maine signed to Fearless Records, picked up booking agent Matt Galle (My Chemical Romance, HelloGoodbye), and began playing sold out shows. The Maine recently played shows with Paramore, Bayside, and This Providence.
