Hey all... Sorry for the lack of updates recently, but I had ahorrible experience for a few days last week... Got caught up in an Adware, Spyware and virus attack! It was miserable! I shelled out a bunch of $$$ to update all of our defenses, but the little buggers just wouldn't go away. However, things are back to normal and I am making progress in catching up from the down time. Also, it appears that we're having so issues with our broadcast. For one reason or another the stream encoder keep dropping out. I usually catch it within an hour or so, but I feel as though I should apologize for it. It hasn't dropped a stream in something like 4 years, but all of a sudden I am running into some issues. I will sort them out just as soon as I can. I have a TON of reviews to get posted, with one thing holding them up. I need to get all the album artwork on the reviews and then I'll post them. As well all of the music needs to be rotated into the playlist. Look for a big shift in the artists we play, not that they won't be punk, it's that the volume of new music being added, will all but wipe out the current artists playing. Why you ask? At Hussieskunk we bias towards the new music in our playlist. Of course, you'll hear a lot of music, but the newest of the new usually gets played more often then stuff previously in rotation. Don't forget to sign up in the forum to win some great prizes from us. Oh, one new thing we're going to try is expanding our store into more of a distro. In fact, I'm working on setting up a way for you to earn credits to spend like money in the HSC store! Wouldn't that be sweet? I think so, you'll end up helping HSC and we'll give you more free stuff! Excellent! What else can I think of.... I think I am going to combine our reviews page into one massive list of reviews. Just to make managing the site a little easier. I am contemplating a new stream. I think I may go with a winamp stream, although I am not sure 100% if I want to go that direction. Your input would be appreciated in the matter, just shoot me an email. I'm going to have a few new shows popping up on the radio, of course the NMI and PRHL will still be here, as well as MRR and Punky, but I think I may add a Scene Report Show and a Hardcore show. I am currently reading a book about the history of hardcore punk through the early eighties, and it inspired me. What can I say... I'm still interested in doing a record club, but I never heard much response from anyone out there. I think it would be fun, but I need to know that there is genuine interest. So let me know.
