We never usually request that our listeners do anything but listen. But something has come to light, and we request your help in the fighting the good fight. While this doesn't hurt Hussieskunk too much, or at least as far as we can tell yet, royalty rates are going to go through the roof for webcasters like Hussieskunk. The RIAA and CBR recently made playing music online exceedingly expensive. There is a movement of listeners, webcasters, media folk, artists, labels and more to try to reject the increase. While Hussieskunk does play RIAA employed artists, we also play independent artists and we do pay royalties to them for the right to broadcast music. Not all RIAA affiliated labels want what is happening, but you know how it goes when you're in the minority and the majority does what it believes to be right, even if it hurt others... Ok, I'm getting lost here... Point is, please support Hussieskunk and other webcasters by going here: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/saveinternetradioand signing the petition. Nothing more is required, but it is important and could have a lasting effect on whether or not webcasters like Hussieskunk remain on the internet at all. Thanks and if you would like to know more or discuss the issue, please contact us, post to this thread or visit the other websites listed below. Thanks for your support!!
