Happy April Fool's Day!! Is that the right salutation for today? Not sure, but who cares... New updates today, new Most Played list, new music reviews have been posted, new interviews will be posted, new zine reviews will be posted, new artists have been posted... For forum members, a new contest has been posted. As promised over the past few weeks, a Hussieskunk show featuring all of our compilation albums is due soon. Watch out for that! As well, scheduled shows will be arriving more and more as the year treads on. We're working on something pretty cool...Hussieskunk on your phone! We'll get there soon!! As well, we have a few other surprises up our sleeves, so....thanks for now, your support is always appreciated.

On a side note, we are not panic'd yet, but the RIAA has forced new legislation through Congress that will limit some of the music that we are allowed to play. Now as many of you in the punk scene know, there are several hundred fiercly independent record labels out there. We here at Hussieskunk are independent and completely DIY. That has been our mantra and will remain so. If you do not want to see some artists and labels being forced out of internet radio, contact your local congressperson or senator, and voice your opinion. You can also go here: http://www.savenetradio.org to find out more. Hussieskunk has never been political, nor have we tried to stir trouble, but this is important. Hussieskunk is fun, we enjoy it, you enjoy it, and we are going to do everything we can to remain on air. If that means cutting out artists and labels from our playlists whom are affiliated with the RIAA and it's labels, then so be it. There is plenty of underground, independent music, labels and artists that support Hussieskunk. We will continue to do what we've always done, just without some of the artists that we all love. We'll be sure to keep you as up to date as we can regarding these issues.
