Perpetually keeping the raging fire that is Punk rock lit, Punk Core is pleased to announce that CAREER SOLDIERS has been added to its exclusive roster of artists. Based in the fertile Southern California punk scene CAREER SOLDIERS in short time has made waves with their no holds barred punk attack and their rigorous work ethic in regards to touring and local as well as regional gigging. And with their forthcoming Punk Core debut, CAREER SOLDIERS will continue to take those ambitions to all new heights. Born of the suburban quagmire that is San Diego, CAREER SOLDIERS formed in August 2002. Wasting no time, the band entered the studio for the first time in May 2003 to record their self-released debut EP, Passion for Destruction. Their debut EP and relentless local gigging caught the attention of THE UNSEEN, whose front man Mark quickly agreed to release their debut full length album Finding Freedom in Hopelessness on his A.D.D. Records label. Released in September of 2004, Finding Freedom in Hopelessness displayed the raw, aggressive and hook-laden style of the band and helped to gain them touring opportunities with punk headliners such as THE CASUALTIES, CHEAP SEX, THE UNSEEN, A GLOBAL THREAT, CLIT 45 and others. The forthcoming sophomore album from CAREER SOLDIERS, titled Loss of Words is expected to drop in the first quarter of 2007 with accompanying tour dates to follow.
