The holidays are fast approaching and we are sure that many of you are desperately looking for a cool present to give to your kids, siblings, nieces/nephews or even parents.  Especially important this time of year is to save children from the pain and suffering caused from listening to bad kiddie music.

We are here to save the day.  The amazing, brand new Brats on the Beat: Ramones for Kids album has hit stores all over the world, just in time to save the holidays.

You don’t know what to expect? Well, how’s this: 12 timeless Ramones classics have been “kiddified” by the Gabba Gabba Heys together with kids singing all the background vocals and choruses.

Add to that the amazing vocal talents of Matt Skiba from Alkaline Trio, Brett Anderson from the Donnas, Jim Lindberg from Pennywise, Greg Attonito of The Bouncing Souls, Jack Grisham from TSOL, 80’s star Josie Cotton and many more who are singing the lead of the Ramones timeless tunes.

And it's for a good cause as well (yes, besides saving you from Rafi or the Wiggles) as a portion of the proceeds from each sale will go to St. Jude’s Children Hospitals.

If you want to check it out before you buy, you can listen to some tracks at http://www.myspace.com/bratsonthebeat

ALBUM TRACKS INCLUDE:
1. Blitzkrieg Bop– Jim Lindberg - PENNYWISE
2. Rock 'N' Roll High School– Matt Skiba - ALKALINE TRIO
3. California Sun – Brett Anderson - The DONNAS
4. Do You Remember Rock 'N' Roll Radio?– Greg Attonito - BOUNCING SOULS
5. Suzy Is A Headbanger– Nick Oliveri - MONDO GENERATOR / QUEENS OF THE STONEAGE
6. Rockaway Beach – Blag Dahlia - The DWARVES
7. I Just Want To Have Something To Do - Emily Wynne-Hughes - GO BETTY GO
8. Spider-Man - Ash Guff - GUFF
9. We Want the Airwaves- Spooney - GABBA GABBA HEYS
10. Sheena Is A Punk Rocker – JOSIE COTTON
11. Cretin Hop – Tony Reflex - ADZ and ADOLECENTS
12. Bop 'Til You Drop – Jack Grisham – TSOL

You still need more incentives? Here you go:

“Kids know a catchy song when they hear it, the Ramones have so many fun songs that they can really get into without having to be about ‘wheels on a bus’ or whatever.”  - Brett Anderson from The Donnas

"I got involved with Brats On The Beat because the Ramones were and always have been one of my favorite bands. I grew up listening to them and learning their songs and they have been and always will be a huge inspiration. The fact that this record is geared towards younger kids is also a really cool thing as I have two nephews - both three- that are also big Ramones fans. It's cool to be a part of turning the little ones onto such a great band!" - Matt Skiba from Alkaline Trio

“By the time it closes with the legendary Jack Grisham of TSOL and his take on "Bop 'Til You Drop", any kid within listening range will have become a Ramones fan.” – About.com

Every once in a while, an album comes out that gives parents some encouragement on how to get their kids off of Brittney and Hillary and into rock 'n' roll.” – Riftrock.com

“Mom and Dad, I implore you, before the lil' man (or lady) takes their first bite of homogeneous pop country or sad, tired thug rap, set 'em straight in the right direction with this 1-2-3-4 bus stop blitzkrieg.” – Anchorage Press

“Brats On The Beat is cool for big kids, too.” – Rochester City News

You can find Brats On The Beat at most cool record stores including better mom and pop stores, Best Buy, Borders, Amazon, FYE, Interpunk and of course you can order from Go-kart's online store: http://www.GoKartRecords.com/store
