Sacramento has some kick ass punk -- a bunch of them doing kick ass things right now.
Red Tape just released their newest EP - Urban Decay and plan to tour soon.
Losing All Pride released their first full length this summer and have steadily built their following since, including being band of the month on Local Licks a program of 98 Rock and inventing the KEG HANG.
Last Chance is playing the show at Club Retro with Michale Graves of the Misfits along with The Secretions and Losing All Pride.
The Secretions continue to blast the scene with their WE SECRETE YOU SUCK -- and promoting all their shows as if it's going out of buisness.
The big mess in the west fest hardcore/punk 3 days festival here BOMBED. Too many bands, too much money to get in, a lot of stuff....
Among bands who played, Whiskey Rebels, Final Summation, both continuing to thrash shit up in sac. Dcoi! Has been starting a bit of a ruckus lately as well with their fuck everyone myspace bulletins... have yet to see them live, but hear good things. West Coast Villians and Psychosomatic are more metal but the punkers seems to be into it. Spawned from Sex Tape Scandal, The She He He's played a crazy house party last weekend....from the pictures it looked like a blast.  
ADD is playing a big board fest with 5 Days Dirty (from SF) coming up, ADD just played the suicide girls show here in sac and from what i hear, rocked harder than the girls did. Ballistics were on the verge of breaking up but since they are getting some interest -- will be playing a few more shows.

And that's what's going on in Sac....at least in the punk genre... :)
